Company History

Established in Hawera in 1944, Arthur Brown Construction (now trading as ABC Group) was founded on the key principle of providing first-class customer service. Our company has since built itself an impressive reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Taranaki.

Throughout the years, our privately-owned company has drawn on the expert knowledge and experience of its staff, to grow and expand into new industry sectors, including Industrial, commercial, education, leisure, healthcare and retail.

Now a well-respected regional company, ABC Group’s office and workshop is located in Hawera, where we focus on projects within the Taranaki and Wanganui regions.

ABC Group is financially independent and maintains the resources to support our own projects. This has allowed us to strengthen our commercial construction capabilities and secure larger contracts.
